Country Cottage – a step-by-step guide!

First off, I’d like to thank everyone who has visited the blog so far, especially those who have commented – I really appreciate it!

I got asked to make a step-by-step guide for different types of buildings, similar to the instructions that come with LEGO sets. I picked a smaller project for the prototype- a cottage!

You have two choices for files, click to open in a new tab or right click + save as to download-

The high-res version (32 mb): CountryCottage
Low-res for slower connections (2.5 mb) CountryCottageLowRes

Please give me feedback on the format of the instructions and what you would like to see in the future! I look forward to hearing from you!

  So, the 2nd level wooden floor covers the original foundation and the stairs making the roof are 1x farther out. Does that make sense? If it does, I’ll change and re-upload the .pdf . I can also add a ground level screen shot of one side at this step if you think that would help!

    Yea once I realized that it was no problem. However, for future guides you should try to add more notes on the side just explaining things. For example, one thing that was always slightly tricky was figuring out exactly how many blocks the length and width of the longer sides of the house was.
    
    Basically notes are always a safe and easy way of making sure noobs like me don’t get confused. You can’t underestimate the noobiness of some people in terms of knowing how to build!
